What we work with
Cloth is bought by the bolt from mills we have used for years, and nothing goes on the cutting table until it has been checked end to end for flaws in the weave.
Choose by light, not by colour
Pick a weight and draw the curtains. Sheer barely changes the room; blackout puts it in darkness.
The range
Colour is the second decision. The first is light, so that's how we've grouped them. These twenty are what we keep on the shelf. The workshop holds several hundred more, and the full swatch book is yours on request.

The shop carries thousands of curtain fabrics across every weight, colour and weave, and we can source beyond that again. If you have a colour, a finish or a specification in mind and can't see it here, tell us what you're looking for and we'll send options and post you the cloth.
For your home
This is the part people worry about. It takes about three minutes per window and a metal tape measure, not a fabric one, because those stretch.
Curtains hang from the rail or track. Measure its full length end to end, ignoring the glass entirely.
Sill, below sill, or floor. Measure from the top of the track down to that point and tell us the number.
Don't add anything for gathers. Send the flat measurements and we'll calculate the fullness for your chosen pleat.
One picture of the window with the tape in place. We check every order against it before cutting.
If a measurement is wrong, we remake it once at no charge. We'd rather absorb that than have you gamble on a custom order from the other side of the world. It's also why we check your photo first, so most mistakes get caught before anything is cut.
